Web Conference: Talking process: steps in developing regulatory frameworks for CCS demonstration and commercial deployment

Background

Significant progress is being made in the development of CCS legal and regulatory frameworks worldwide. Australia, the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States have been at the forefront of such developments for some time, but many other countries are currently implementing or considering CCS regulation, including in the developing world. As progress is made, interesting insights can be gained into the process involved in getting appropriate regulation in place. These insights can guide and inform governments as they move through different stages of framework development. This webinar will review the regulatory development processes in a number of jurisdictions and share lessons learnt along the way.
