National Standard for Building Carbon Emission Calculation GB/T51366-2019
In China, the National Standard for Building Carbon Emission Calculation was issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development in 2019. The Standard provides calculation methods and factor values of carbon emissions for each phase of a building’s lifecycle, laying the basis for emission calculation. The standard, which entered into force in December 2019, is applicable to the calculation of carbon emissions during the production and transportation of materials, construction and demolition, and operation phases of new, expanded and renovated civil buildings. Interim Measure of Distributed Solar Power Generation On-grid Service Agreement (State Grid)
Target:
China plans to increase installed generation capacity for solar power to over 21GW by 2015.
State Grid Cooperation for China (SGCC) announced a plan to allow small-scale distributed solar power generators to connect to its power lines and allow solar power generators with less than 6 MW of installed capacity and lower than 10,000 kV to be connected to the grid.

Policy options to accelerate distributed solar PV in Ukraine
Accelerating distributed solar PV and battery energy storage deployment will support Ukraine in establishing energy security.In the year following the Russian Federation’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, available dispatchable power generation capacity halved from roughly 38 GW to 19 GW. After severe attacks in spring 2024, capacity declined further, down to 12 GW.
