The International Energy Agency (IEA) is organising a workshop to discuss policy design to scale a suite of sustainable fuels. The COP30 Belém pledge, endorsed by 28 countries, aims to quadruple sustainable fuel production and use by 2035.IEA analysis supporting the pledge indicates that, if fully legislated and implemented, current and proposed national and international policies would put sustainable fuels use on a path to nearly double from 2024 levels by 2030 and quadruple by 2035.
