Home Eco Grant (Eigenheim-Ökozulage)

Under this programme households could receive federal grants for purchasing houses and flats. In addition to the standard grant, up to DM 256 per year over eight years are granted if solar thermal collectors or heat pumps are installed. Heat pumps need to supply at least four times the energy they require as electrical input. The grant is paid out annually by reducing personal tax payments.
