Resolution 909/2008 establishing the norms and standards for permissible emissions of pollutants into the air

This regulation sets standards for air pollutants of industrial installation, including power generation. 

The standards are as follow: 

• SO2: 550 mg/m3 for existing installations // 500  mg/m3 for new installations
• NOx: 550 mg/m3 for existing installations // 500  mg/m3 for new installations
• PM: 250 mg/m3 for existing installations // 150  mg/m3 for new installations

The regulation also includes norms for F gases (HF, HCI, HCT).
