Decree 814/2017 - Clean energy technology import tariff extension

Decree 814/2017 establishes a list of good, used to build renewable energy facilities benefitting from import tariff exemption. It extends the tariff benefits established by Law 27,191 of 2015. Among the granted benefits are:

- Tariff exemption for some imported energy sector goods included in chapters HS 39, 70, 72, 73, 74, 84, 85, and 90  until January 2023. 
- Tariff exemption for photovoltaic generators excluding support structures and machines and mechanical appliances with their own function until December 2018. 
- Tariff exemption for wind turbine swith a power greater than 700 kW until January 2023.
