New Investment Law no. 72 of 2017 - uniform custom duty

Since 2017, a uniform reduced 2% custom duty is implemented for equipment and machinery imports notably for renewable energy projects, electricity generation and distribution projects (to be listed under a decree of the Prime Minister) and car manufacturing activities in Egypt.
