Fuel subsidies for motor vehicle users

In July 2022, the Government of Bulgaria approved a budget of BGN 150 million for fuel subsidies. In November 2022, the government allocated an additional budget of BGN 38 million. Under the compensation program, individual users of motor vehicles registered in Bulgaria receive a subsidy of BGN 0.25 per litre of fuel when refueling at gas stations until the end of 2022.
