Gas subsidies to vulnerable households

In an effort to cushion domestic consumers from the effects of the global energy crisis, the Brazilian government increased its support to the energy consumption of poor households, by providing vouchers covering half of the cost of a 13kg LPG cylinder every two months.
The voucher value was doubled for the August and October payments.
