Guest Talk with Joe Aldy: Energy, stimulus and post-Covid recovery measures
Joe Aldy, a leading environmental economist at Harvard Kennedy School and renowned expert on green stimulus programmes, will be interviewed by Dave Turk to discuss the COVID crisis and post-recovery measures. From 2009 to 2010, Joe served as the Special Assistant to President Obama for Energy and Environment. It was in that role, and on the presidential transition that preceded it that he was a key White House staffer, negotiating with Capitol Hill on the Recovery Act that included $90 billion for green goals.
On 5 June, join Joe Aldy and Dave Turk as they discuss the impact of the ongoing crisis and the post-recovery policy response.
