Global Hydrogen Review 2025 Webinar
Add to calendar
The Global Hydrogen Review is an annual publication by the International Energy Agency that tracks hydrogen production and demand worldwide, as well as progress in critical areas such as infrastructure development, trade, policy, regulation, investments and innovation.
The report is an output of the Clean Energy Ministerial Hydrogen Initiative and is intended to inform energy sector stakeholders on the status and future prospects of hydrogen. Focusing on hydrogen’s potential role in meeting international energy and climate goals, the Review aims to help policy makers fine-tune strategies to attract investment and facilitate deployment of hydrogen technologies at the same time as creating demand for hydrogen and hydrogen-based fuels. The report takes stock of the progress to date and explores the challenges ahead, in order to provide a thorough assessment of the level of hydrogen adoption that could be achieved by 2030. This year’s edition has a special focus on Southeast Asia, exploring the region’s potential for the production and use of low-emissions hydrogen and hydrogen-based fuels and products in the near term.
The report is released along with the updated Hydrogen Production and Infrastructure Projects Database, and a new online Hydrogen Tracker allowing users to further explore announced projects for low-emissions hydrogen production and infrastructure deployment, hydrogen production costs by region and technology, and more than 1 000 hydrogen policy measures worldwide announced or implemented since 2020.
During this webinar report’s main authors will present and discuss the main findings of the report and trends observed.
Attendees will be given a chance to comment and ask questions during a Q&A session.
