About the tracker
This tool enables users to explore historical data on the production of low-emissions hydrogen, transmission pipelines and underground storage deployment as well as announced projects, based on the information available in the IEA Hydrogen production and infrastructure projects database. It provides an assessment of the cost of producing hydrogen in different regions and via different production routes today and the potential evolution by 2030, and includes a comprehensive hydrogen policy tracker with more than 1 000 hydrogen policies worldwide announced or implemented since 2020.
This tool complements the analysis presented in the Global Hydrogen Review 2025.
