        Director of the Department of Information, Studies and Energy Efficiency. Leandro Andrade is the director of the Department of Information, Studies and Energy Efficiency at the National Secretary of Energy Transition and Planning of the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Brazil. He coordinates energy data, planning studies and energy efficiency activities of Brazil in cooperation with other important institutions of Brazil, such as ENBPar, ANEEL, EPE, among others. The main activities of the department in energy efficiency area relate to PROCEL program and MEPS policies. Before joining MME, Leandro worked at EPE in the generation planning, modeling and regulation area.

        NEW (first release: June 2025) - Monthly, quarterly, and annual demand data for seven products in individual OECD and Non-OECD countries with aggregates for selected regions. Monthly, quarterly, and annual demand data for seven products in individual OECD and Non-OECD countries with aggregates for selected regions. The dataset starts in January 2005. Data are in thousand barrels per day and include 6-18 month forecasts.This new dataset combines OECD and non-OECD demand data into a single, harmonised dataset including more granularity for non-OECD countries (demand available by product and by month).

        Energy balances for 156 countries and 35 regional aggregates The World Energy Balances online data service contains energy balances for 156 countries and 35 regional aggregates. The figures are expressed in thousand tonnes of oil equivalent (ktoe) and in terajoules (TJ). Conversion factors used to calculate energy balances and indicators (including GDP, population, industrial production index and ratios calculated with the energy data) are also provided. The database also includes transparent notes on methodologies and sources for country-level data. In general, data are available from 1971 (1960 for OECD countries) up to 2023 for all countries.
