                Energy Research Program

The Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) and the Climate and Energy Fund aim to advance hydrogen technologies through the 2024 Energy Research Call, with a budget of €25 million. The focus includes R&D infrastructure for hydrogen applications, efficient energy conversion, and societal acceptance. Key goals are to enhance hydrogen production and storage, integrate hydrogen into flexible energy systems, and support carbon capture and utilization

                Bavaria Hydrogen Roadmap

Bavaria has set the goal of being climate-neutral by 2040. With the Hydrogen Roadmap, the Free State highlight the perspectives and actions to ramp-up the hydrogen economy. Demand is expected to come mainly from mobility, petrochemical, power and heat generation (central and in the industrial sector). Capacity for electrolytic hydrogen production is limited due to the low renewable resources potential, so Bavaria will have to rely on imports in the long term. Anyway, by 2030 at least 1 GW of electrolysis must be installed in Bavaria (300 MW by 2025) to meet the assumed additional hydrogen demand. In…

                Hydrogen guidelines

The hydrogen guidelines seek to establish a comprehensive policy for the development of low-emission hydrogen in Mexico, promoting its adoption in key sectors such as energy, industry, and mobility. Their objective is to create a national strategy that promotes a sustainable energy transition, fosters technological innovation, strengthens the national industry, generates social and environmental benefits, and positions the country as a leader in the production, use, and export of internationally certified hydrogen

Plan de déploiement de l'hydrogène pour la transition énergétique

The action plan is divided in three pillars: hydrogen production via electrolysis for industrial uses (mainly refineries and chemicals), supported by R&D and innovation; develop hydrogen mobility complementarily to electrification of transport; accelerate the testing of hydrogen blending and hydrogen use in the power sector with the aim to use it, in the long term, as a storage and grid stabilization system.
