Implementation of EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD)

New energy requirement 2015: a new building may use 3 litres oil/m2 (milestone). In 2005, average net heat consumption in existing buildings was 14 litres oil/m2. The Danish building code enumerates plans to legislate efficiency improvement in new, renovated and existing buildings in 2006, 2010 and 2015. The revised code also aims to introduce specific requirements in the Building Regulations relating to replacement of roofs, windows in a facade and oil and gas boilers, and to change of heat supply. Requirements for energy labelling or certification of buildings were adopted in June 2005 and have been in effect…

Auto industry - promoting demand for clean vehicles

The French government wants to accelerate the renewal of the old and polluting car fleet by providing incentives to buy cleaner vehicles, new or used, in exchange for the scrapping of an old vehicle. The government will encourage the purchase of electric vehicles (EV) by reinforcing ecologic bonuses. From June 1 to the end of 2020, subsidies for the purchase of EVs with a price lower than EUR 45,000 , will be up to EUR 7,000 for individuals and EUR 5,000 for companies. A new subsidy of EUR 2,000 was also introduced for the purchase of plug…

                Heat Production from RES Incentives

Adopted amendments guarantee the heat producers from RES the 90% of approved heat tariff for correspondent consumer group (HH, public organizations or commercial consumers) for heat producers from natural gas. If there is no approved tariff for heat from gas (e.g. small producers not regulated by NKREKP) the heat tariffs from RES are determined as 90% of average country heat tariff.
