Pilot Bioheat Boiler Deployment Programme
The "Pilot Bioheat Boiler Deployment Programme" is a sub-programme of measured support under the Renewable Energy RD&D Programme that stimulates the biomass heat market. The Programme is aimed at accelerating the uptake of biomass boilers for space heating in Ireland by providing capital grant support for the installation of a number of biomass boilers, for large buildings and small industrial sites, around the country. On improving the energy efficiency of multi-apartment residential buildings
The document defines the conditions and mechanisms for the participation of owners of residential and non-residential premises in financing energy-efficient measures to reduce heat consumption in multi-apartment residential buildings, reduce heating costs and improve the consumer characteristics of such buildings. The envisaged measures allow residents of apartment buildings to receive state support for thermal modernization in the form of partial compensation of costs and installment plans for other costs.
