                China Energy Technology Innovation Action Plan 2016-2030

                On 7th of April 2016 National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and National Energy Administration (NEA) issued Energy Technology Innovation Action Plan 2016-2030 of China. The document is in line with goals included in 13th Energy Technology Innovation Five Year Plan (2016-2020) and leads the country beyond that timeline until 2030. China’s goal is to significantly enhance innovation in energy technologies, equipment, components and materials used in energy projects and to increase China's independence in the supply of renewable energy projects (wind, solar, bioenergy, geothermal and ocean energy).

                China - Australia Free Trade Agreement (ChAFTA)

                The China-Australia Free Trade Agreement (ChAFTA) came into effect in December 2015. Goods subject to tariff reductions or exemptions mainly include textiles and leather, electronic and mechanical products, other manufactured products, steel and metals, and chemical products. For Chinese goods exported into Australia side:Tariff for Motor cars and other motor vehicles, principally designed for the transport of persons, has been decreased from 5% to 0%. Tariff for Photosensitive semiconductor devices remains 0%. Tariff for heat pumps other than air conditioning machines falling under HS code of heading 8415 has been decreased from 5% to 0%. For Australian goods…

                China - Hong Kong, China Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement

                The China - Hong Kong, China Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement aims to foster economic and trade relations between the two countries by eliminating tariffs and other trade barriers. The Agreement eliminates import tariffs for all traded goods. The Agreement also includes rules of origin and local content provisions. Goods are counted as originating if they are wholly produced or obtained in the country, or undergo sufficient work.

                The China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement entered into force in July 2007.                 China-Nicaragua Free Trade Agreement

                The Free Trade Agreement between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Nicaragua officially entered into force on January 1, 2024. China committed to the following preferential tariff treatment for goods imported from Nicaragua:Tariffs for Motor cars and other motor vehicles principally designed for the transport of persons will be gradually eliminated (from 15%) within the next 15 years. Tariffs for Lithium hydroxide will be gradually eliminated (from 5%) within the next 15 years. Nicaragua committed to the following preferential tariff treatment for goods imported from china:Tariff exemption for Lithium oxide and hydroxide.Tariffs exemption…

                The Free Trade Agreement between Serbia and China is expected to come into force in July 2024.Serbia is to eliminate import tariffs for Chinese products includingautomobiles, photovoltaic modules, lithium batteries, communication equipment, machinery and equipment, refractory materials, and some agricultural and aquatic products, etc. , These goods' previous tariff was around 5% to 20%. China is to eliminate import tariffs for products from Serbia including electric motors, tires, beef, wine, nuts, etc. Rules of origin apply.
