On Energy Efficiency in Buildings, On Commercial Metering of Utility Services, and On the Energy Efficiency Fund
In 2017 the Parliament approved the important laws - On Energy Efficiency in Buildings, On Commercial Metering of Utility Services, and On the Energy Efficiency Fund. The adoption of this legislation enabled government to create the Energy Efficiency Fund of Ukraine (EEFU). As of December 2018, the government has already adopted the required secondary legislation to launch the EEFU which expected to be fully operational by March 2019. The affordable financing from the EEFU will target energy efficiency improvement of multi-apartment buildings managed by homeowners associations.
