Joint Statement in Support of the IEA-Ukraine Collaboration Programme
The extensive damage to critical civilian and energy infrastructure across Ukraine is a direct result of Russia’s ongoing war of aggression against Ukraine. Tax reduction import duty exemption for domestic renewable energy projects
Through Law 27.191, the Argentinian government grants import duty exemptions as well as value income tax and value added tax reductions for equipments used in domestic renewable energy projects in the country. This preferential tax and import duty treatment applies to wind , solar thermal , solar photovoltaic, geothermic, tidal, wave, hydraulic energy, and biomass energy projects, as well as for landfill gas, treatment plant gas, biogas and biofuels ones.

US-Argentina Framework for an Agreement on Reciprocal Trade and Investment
In November 2025, the United States and Argentina concluded a Framework for an Agreement on Reciprocal Trade and Investment ("Framework") that seeks to strengthen the two countries' trade and investment relationship. As part of this Framework, Cambodia and the United States have agreed to certain measures regarding critical mineral supply chains. In particular, Argentina and the United States will cooperate to facilitate investment and trade in critical minerals. In addition, Argentina has agreed to take measures to encourage a more resource-efficient economy, including in the critical minerals sector.
