Auto industry - promoting demand for clean vehicles
The French government wants to accelerate the renewal of the old and polluting car fleet by providing incentives to buy cleaner vehicles, new or used, in exchange for the scrapping of an old vehicle. The government will encourage the purchase of electric vehicles (EV) by reinforcing ecologic bonuses. From June 1 to the end of 2020, subsidies for the purchase of EVs with a price lower than EUR 45,000 , will be up to EUR 7,000 for individuals and EUR 5,000 for companies. Heat Production from RES Incentives
Adopted amendments guarantee the heat producers from RES the 90% of approved heat tariff for correspondent consumer group (HH, public organizations or commercial consumers) for heat producers from natural gas. If there is no approved tariff for heat from gas (e.g. small producers not regulated by NKREKP) the heat tariffs from RES are determined as 90% of average country heat tariff.

Combined Heat and Power Act
Since 2002, the Combined Heat and Power Act (CHP Act) has been the main basis for the promotion of CHP plants. The Act provides a framework for funding the particularly efficient technology of combined heat and power generation based on the application of a surcharge. Pursuant to the CHP Act, the operators of funded CHP installations are entitled to the payment of a supplement for a limited period of time.
