Minimum Cooling Efficiency Standards for Commercial Air Conditioning and Heating Equipment
The code (10 CFR § 431.97 - Energy efficiency standards) defines energy efficiency ratio and combined energy efficiency ratio of commercial air conditioners and heat pumps. Hereafter Minimum Heating Efficiency Standards for Air Conditioning and Heating Equipment, specifically Heat Pumps, it does not include single package vertical air conditioners and single package vertical heat pumps, packaged terminal air conditioners and packaged terminal heat pumps, computer room air conditioners, variable refrigerant flow multi-split air conditioners and heat pumps, and double-duct air-cooled commercial package air conditioning and heating equipment, which are enumerated in other policy entry. One-time heating subsidies
The Government of Bulgaria provided subsidies to 380,000 households throughout 2022 to help them cover increased heating costs through several rounds. First around 302,000 people received a one-time allowance of BGN 623.55, then in October additional 10,000 families received BGN 400. In November, additional budget of BGN 15 million to support 50,000 more households was enacted.
