Heat Pump Pool
The Heat Pump Pool aims to convert heat supply in year-round homes in Denmark to greener alternatives by providing subsidies for individual heat pumps (liquid-to-water or air-to-water). Homeowners, including private homeowners and various housing associations, can apply for tax-exempt subsidies to replace oil, gas, bio boilers, or electric heating systems with heat pumps, meeting specific technical requirements.

Heat Pump Deployment Promotion Plan
The Heat Pump Deployment Promotion Plan promotes heat pumps as a core technology for replacing fossil-fuel boilers and electrifying heating and cooling demand. The government set a target to deploy 3.5 million heat pumps by 2035 and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 5.18 million tonnes. It plans to introduce a separate electricity tariff not subject to progressive residential rates, expand public subsidies and support deployment in detached houses, villages, commercial buildings, public facilities and industrial sites. The 2026 budget for heat pump support was reported at KRW 58.3 billion, reflecting a shift from pilot deployment toward…

Net Zero Strategy - Heat Pumps Ready Programme
The UK government invested an additional £60 million into heat pump innovation as part of the net zero innovation portfolio, making them more beautiful, smaller, and easier to install. It is part of the UK's plan to install 600,000 heat pumps per year by 2028 and expand UK manufacturing. The Heat Pump Ready Programme is split into 3 separate delivery streams: Stream 1: solutions for high-density heat pump deployment. Up to £30 million of Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) funding from spring 2022 to support the development and trial of solutions and methodologies for the optimised deployment…

Solar hot water hybrid system promotion project
The DEDE initiated in 2008 the Solar Hot Water Hybrid system promotion project. The programme ficially supprot the deployment of high efficiency solar collector and waste heat from air conditioner and boiler installations and stimulate investment. The government provides grants to support the cost of hybrid system installation feasibility studies and preliminary design in hotels and commercial buildings. The programme focuses on small scale projects and allocates grants supporting up to 30% of initial investment of the installation cost. In 2008, the programme subsidised 3, 972.52 m2 of solar PV installation area, and 3, 000 m2 in 2009. The…

District Heating Pool
The district heating pool was launched by the Danish Energy Agency as a subsidy scheme for district heating companies to support their expansion of the district heating network in new areas to replace heating with gas or oil boilers. The district heating pool was established as a climate measure in the Danish Climate Agreement of 2020. Since then, the district heating pool received several rounds of funding including the most recent Winter Package 2022. The pool is expected to re-open for applications on 23 January 2023. The fund was included in the Finance Act for 2024 with 150 million…

Heating system optimization
The basis for this is the directive on the promotion of heating optimization through highly efficient pumps and hydraulic balancing. This is done by installing modern, high-efficiency pumps or carrying out the hydraulic balancing, which optimally distributes the heat in the building.
The funding program aims to motivate the heating owners with attractive, non-repayable subsidies, replace inefficient pumps and carry out optimization measures on the entire heating system. It thus makes a significant contribution to the economic and climate-friendly heat supply of the building stock in Germany. -
