Critical Minerals Dataset
Download supply & demand data behind the Critical Minerals Data Explorer 2024 edition In its first release, this dataset provides demand projection results for 37 key metals and minerals that are critical to the clean energy sector under different scenarios and technology cases, including 12 alternative cases modeling the impact of different technologies or consumer behaviours. This edition is also updated with long-term supply projections for mining and refining of several key minerals. The numbers will be regularly updated to align with the latest energy scenarios in line with the IEA's Global Energy and Climate model.

Interactive map of global biogas and biomethane potential
This map provides a first-of-a-kind analysis of the sustainable technical potential of biogas and biomethane supply globally. This assessment considers more than 30 types of feedstocks. They can be broadly grouped together as crop residues, animal manure, biowaste and woody biomass. Only feedstocks that can be used without direct competition with food production or animal feed, and that avoid adverse sustainability impacts, are included.

Energy and Emissions per Value Added Database
Sectoral value-added data and energy efficiency indicators for all OECD and 100 non-OECD countries Value added data is the basis for analysing how economies are structured, and to develop sectoral energy intensity indicators – useful to monitor trends in the economic efficiency of various activities, as a complement to data based on physical indicators. The IEA has developed the current database to provide the most complete coverage of sectoral value-added data, at current and constant prices, and associated energy efficiency indicators. This database merges value added data from three databases (OECD and UNSD National accounts, and OECD Trade…

Life Cycle Upstream Emissions Factors 2025
…to 2023; and 2024 (provisional data for selected countries))(Sheet Total upstream factors)Correspond to the total upstream emissions intensity associated with the national electricity generation. The factors are computed using the overall life cycle footprint of the electricity generation technologies/fuels excluding direct emissions from combustion of the fuels at the generation point weighted by their respective shares in the generation mix.Fuel-cycle emission factors (in CO2eq per kWh, 2015 to 2023; and 2024 (provisional data for selected countries)) (Sheet Fuel-cycle factors)Correspond to the fuel-cycle emissions intensity associated with the national electricity generation.
