Sara Moarif
Head of Environment and Climate Change (ECC) Unit. Sara Moarif has been head of the Environment and Climate Change Unit at the IEA since late 2019. In this role she oversees a range of internal and external work on energy and environment policy issues, from carbon pricing systems in the power sector to the climate resilience of energy systems, along with IEA participation in the OECD-IEA Climate Change Expert Group and parts of the IEA's international climate-related engagement.

Mary Burce Warlick
Deputy Executive Director. Mary Burce Warlick is the Deputy Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA). A retired career diplomat and former U.S. Ambassador to Serbia, Ms. Warlick has held a variety of senior leadership positions at the U.S. Department of State, National Security Council and Department of Defense, serving in Washington and abroad. From 2014-2017 she served as the State Department’s Principal Deputy and Acting Special Envoy for International Energy Affairs and represented the U.S. on the IEA Governing Board Ms. Warlick holds a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in Law and Diplomacy.

Department of Energy Secretary. Alfonso Cusi has headed the Philippine Department of Energy since July 2016, overseeing the institutionalisation of energy efficiency measures in the country. He has more than four decades of leadership experience in both the private and public sectors, notably in the transportation and logistics industries.
