Biofuels Production Incentive

It provides a non-repayable, tiered per-litre incentive for eligible fuels produced during two years from 2026. To qualify, applicants must be Canadian legal entities producing fuels that meet the criteria of the Clean Fuels Regulations. The program prioritises the use of North American feedstocks and the sale of fuel within the Canadian market to boost energy security. Applications are accepted on a continuous intake basis through December 31, 2027
