Heat Pump Monitor 2026: Webinar (morning session)

Webinar

Overview

Heat pumps are a cornerstone technology for achieving secure, affordable and sustainable heating. Already among the world’s most common heating technologies, they are expected to play an increasingly important role in shaping future energy demand for heating in the Age of Electricity.

Two sessions will be held on 29 October in which IEA heat pump experts will present recent trends in heat pump deployment and technology, drawing on the recent Heat Pump Monitor 2026 and Heat Pump Taxonomy reports.

The Heat Pump Monitor is the first publication to consolidate all IEA analysis on heat pumps in one place, including on global and regional market trends, technology innovation and policy, as well as examining the implications of heat pump uptake for energy security, affordability and industrial competitiveness.

The webinar will also convene a panel of policy makers, industry leaders and other heat pump experts to reflect on the role of heat pumps in strengthening energy security and how recent developments could shape the market outlook.

Attendees will have the chance to comment and ask questions during a Q&A session.

If you cannot make this session, register for session 2: 29th October 2026, 17h00 - 18h30 CET.
