Clean Energy Transitions as Pathways for Decent Work

Building on the work of the IEA's Global Commission on People-Centred Clean Energy Transitions: Designing for Fairness, this side event will explore the findings and lessons from the Commission's first phase of deliberations on ensuring a people-centred transition, specifically in the employment sector. It will provide a platform for governments, trade union leaders and youth representatives, to discuss how to engage workers and other key stakeholders in workforce policy planning and to ensure decent and socially inclusive jobs are realised in the clean energy economy.
