Seychelles Energy Policy for 2010-2030 recommends a sustainable development of the energy sector focusing on energy efficiency, renewable energy and reducing the dependence on oil to improve energy security. It aims to diversify the energy supply, with a targeted  15% share of renewable energy for 2030.
