Nick Butler is chair of the Kings Policy Institute at Kings College. He spent 29 years at BP, five of them as Group Vice President for Policy and Strategy Development, and later served as a senior advisor to former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Mr Butler is also an energy commentator for the Financial Times.
