Firstly, please check the IEA’s terms and conditions available here to confirm whether or not your intended use of Material is already permitted. If it is permitted, you do not need to obtain a separate written authorisation from the IEA. However, you must attribute the IEA as stated within our terms and conditions. Please see the ‘Attribution’ section which gives numerous examples and instructions how to reference IEA material.
Remember that our terms and conditions do not permit you to reproduce any material which is attributed to a third party copyright owner. You must seek authorisation to use such third party material separately and directly from the relevant copyright owner. You may also need to comply with the third party owner’s requirements regarding attribution in each case.
Only if your intended use of Material is not permitted under the terms and conditions, please download and complete the form below, then send the completed form via email to email@example.com. We receive a high volume of requests; your request is will be considered quicker if you complete the form. Please allow at least a week for us to provide a first response to any request (noting that it may take longer to confirm if your usage is permitted).
Alternatively, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to use more than an insubstantial amount of the IEA’s material in any type of modelling for the purpose of creating derived data or derived products, and any services to distribute or display such derived products where such derived products or services are regular and/or revenue-generating. For this type of usage, you may need to enter into a Licence Agreement with the IEA and pay a fee.
