The Energy End-uses and Efficiency Indicators database contains data from 2000 to 2024, covering end use energy consumption, and carbon emissions for the IEA member countries and beyond. Delegated Act for "low-carbon hydrogen"
Proposal for methodology to determine GHG emissions from low-carbon (i.e. non renewable) hydrogen. Delegated Act with methodology was published by the European Commission in July 2025. The European Parliament and Member States have two months to accept or reject the proposal. The proposal includes a default value of 5.1 gCO2-eq/MJ for upstream GHG emission intensity of natural gas, out of which just 0.2 gCO2-eq/MJ is for the methane.
