Regulatory sandbox for electric demand response

Law 14,871/24 on tax incentives for modernization of industry
This Act provides tax incentives for the modernization of Brazil's industrial park. The government shall allocate R$3.4 billion to fund this incentive over a period of up to two years. The programme aims to increase the efficiency of the country's industries and attract investments.

BNDES financing to new wind farms 2023
The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) of Brazil approved a total of BRL 907 million in financing for Casa dos Ventos to implement four wind farms in Rio Grande do Norte. With a total installed capacity of 202.5 MW, the projects will form the Umari Wind Complex that will supply around 500,000 homes in the area.

Increase in Import Tax on Selected Steel Products
