Funding Programme for FCEVs "KSNI-Förderprogramm"
…€2.2 billion from 2023 to 2026 to support the deployment of climate-friendly vehicles, including fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs). The program covers the procurement of light and heavy commercial vehicles (EU classes N1, N2, and N3) and the development of hydrogen refueling stations (HRS). Incentives include up to 80% of the additional investment costs for alternative drive vehicles, up to 80% of eligible costs for HRS, and up to 50% for feasibility studies. Funding for heavy-duty vehicles is capped at €500,000 per application, and infrastructure funding requires at least one associated vehicle purchase under the program.

…of up to £1,500 for electric cars priced under £32,000, with currently around 20 models on the market.Grant rates for the Plug in Van Grant (purchase subsidies) will now be £5,000 for large vans and £2,500 for small vans (and which includes also PHEVs - whereas car subsidies including only BEVs and FCEVs), with a limit of 1,000 per customer per year.Motorcycle and moped grants will also be changing, with the government now providing £500 off the cost of a motorcycle, and £150 for mopeds, with a price cap on vehicles of £10,000.

Citydeal Shared E-mobility in Urban Planning and Development
Under this programme, seven cities in the Netherlands have agreed to test the deployment of shared electric vehicles integrated with innovative housing projects. In total, this project will include more than 5000 new homes and 200 cars.
The aim of the programme is to understand how buildings and vehicles can be better integrated via vehicle-to-building (V2B) and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technologies to deliver more efficient energy use in cities.
Through collaboration, these cities aim to share knowledge that can be used to scale-up the use of shared electric vehicles in Dutch cities.

Near-term Transportation Sector Electrification Program
…term Transportation Sector Electrification Program will provide grants for conducting qualified electric transportation projects. The programme aims to accelerate the development and production of various electric drive vehicle systems to substantially reduce petroleum consumption. Priority for grants will be given to large-scale projects and large-scale aggregators of projects. Funded projects can be in four Program Areas of Interest: Electric Drive Vehicle Demonstration and Evaluation; Transportation Sector Electrification; Combined Proposals for the two previous areas; Advanced Electric Drive Vehicle Education Program. Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) were emphasised within electric drive technologies to be funded under the Program.

In December 2016, New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP) added 15 new electric vehicle models to the all of government vehicles contract to support the uptake of electric vehicles.

Free registration
Police in Ras Al Khaimah have launched a major eco-friendly drive - by offering free registration on electric cars for the next three years.
Registration, renewal and ownership transfer on electric vehicles will be exempt from charges from October 1 until December 31, 2021.
It's all part of an ongoing effort to increase the use of electric cars in the emirate and cut down on fuel consumption.
The move was announced under the directives of Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. -

Energy-Efficient Federal Motor Vehicle Fleet Procurement
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 makes available funding for capital expenditures and necessary expenses of acquiring motor vehicles with higher fuel economy, including: hybrid vehicles; electric vehicles; and commercially-available, plug-in hybrid vehicles. The General Services Administration (GSA) had until September 30, 2009 to invest USD 300 million in new, more fuel-efficient vehicles for the federal fleet. Ahead of the deadline, GSA ordered 17,246 vehicles, including cars and buses from a total of six manufacturers.
