National Automotive Development Programme

The National Automotive Development Programme sets the incentive and regulatory framework to develop an electric vehicle industry in Egypt, along with the uptake of it.
It includes the incentives to cover 30-40% of the production costs of the car, and subsidies of up to 50,000 Egyptian pounds for the purchase of locally manufactured electric vehicles.
