                Subsidy for household energy bills

                The Romanian Ministry of European Investments and Projects provides a one-time subsidy of RON 1,400 to 4 million vulnerable households to compensate for rising energy prices. The subsidy can be used in two instalments between February and December 2023 via a special card.

                Subsidy scheme encouraging the purchase of electric buses and electric heavy weight trucks by transport companies

                 France introduced a subsidy scheme meant to support the purchase of electric heavy weight trucks, busses and corresponding charging infrastructures by transport companies. Two calls for projects were launched in 2023.

                Subsidy scheme for energy intensive companies to cover electricity prices' rise

                The Ministry of Economy of Slovakia allocated EUR 40 million in compensation to energy intensive companies having a yearly consumption over 1 GWh of in several industries such as metallurgy, steel, cement, chemicals, cellulose. The goal is to partially cover their final electricity bill through compensation of the renewable energy support component of electricity tariffs in 2022.

                Subsidy scheme private enterprises

                Subsidies are granted through a competitive bidding process. They will be first granted to projects with the lowest costs per saved kWh, then to those representing the second lowest costs, and so forth. The scheme is aimed at achieving energy savings in businesses, and is open to energy saving projects in all types of energy in the private sector and all types of activities in Denmark including: - Industry/manufacturing- Agriculture, fisheries, forestry and horticulture- Construction and manufacturing - Energy in private service and retail The scheme primarily targets energy savings in the delivery of services and manufacturing of products, with the main…

                Subsidy for LPG stoves and services

                To support a clean energy transition in Colombia, the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Colombia provides subsidies for the purchase of LPG-fuelled stoves and the construction of the LPG cylinders to Colombian families in La Guajira, Cauca, Córdoba and Arauca.  It is expected to benefit 100,000 households as part of the country’s energy transition with a subsidy of the 70% of the virtual LPG connection cost and up to 50% of the consumption of LPG in cylinders.

                Subsidy scheme for energy savings in public buildings

                The measure supports a subsidy scheme of DKK 315 million, which is a targeted energy savings in public buildings. The subsidy will focus on energy renovations in regional and municipal buildings with the lowest energy performance certificate standards (D-G) as well as buildings that are heated by oil burners and gas furnaces. It is estimated that the effort can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 0.004 Mt CO2e in 2025 and 2030.

                Subsidy for RD&D for New and Renewable Energy

                In line with the Special Measures Law for Promoting the Use of New Energy, METI provides subsidies for R & D projects that will contribute to the diffusion of new and renewable enrgy. The budget amount of R & D project for new and renewable energy (incluing fuel cells) is 34.8 billion yen in FY2013. R & D projects funded cover various types of new and renewable energy sources in a variety of sectors (electricity, heat, transport).

                Subsidy scheme to replace oil burners with heat pumps in buildings outside the district heating and gas grids

                The scheme is planned to be implemented as a subsidy scheme with the objective to replace oil burners with heat pumps in buildings located in areas without access to district heating or the gas grid.
