Energy Efficiency 2024
Background information Energy Efficiency 2024, the latest edition of the IEA’s annual analysis on energy efficiency, will explore recent global trends in energy intensity, demand, investment, policy and technology.It will be launched in parallel with a new IEA Energy Efficiency Progress Tracker. This interactive online tool will assess progress towards the target set at COP28 in Dubai of doubling the global average annual rate of energy efficiency improvements by 2030.

Autumn 2021 Update of the Sustainable Recovery Tracker
In July 2021, the IEA published its Sustainable Recovery Tracker, which showed only 2% of the total fiscal support spent by governments in response to the Covid-19 crisis was allocated to clean energy measures.
