National Energy Compact For United Republic Of Tanzania
The compact targets a significant expansion in energy access, aiming to increase electricity connectivity from 46% in 2022 to 75% by 2030, and clean cooking access from 6.9% to 75%. It also commits to raising the share of renewable energy in the generation mix from 61.8% in 2025 to 75% by 2030.

Law 21305 on Energy Efficiency
The Article 7 of the Energy Efficiency Law defines vehicle energy efficiency standards for the new motor vehicle fleet, consisting of average energy performance targets. Compliance or non-compliance with the standard is measured with respect to the average (performance and weight) of sales of a brand or brand/importer. As an incentive to increase the supply of electric vehicles, the possibility of counting the performance of each electric or hybrid vehicle with external electric recharging up to three times in the calculation of this average is included. National Electric Mobility Mission Plan 2020
The Department of Heavy Industry published in 2012 the "National Electric Mobility Mission Plan" (NEMMP) 2020 which aims at promoting hybrid and electric vehicles. It sets out the target to achieve 6-7 million sales of hybrid and electric vehicles year on year from 2020 onwards by providing fiscal incentives. The main policy to achieve targets set out in the NEMMP is the "Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid &) Electric Vehicles" (FAME) scheme.

Since 1993, Korea has developed a Rational Energy Utilization Basic Plan for five-year periods, which are revised at the end of each five-year period. The 5th Basic Plan was announced in 2014, and set the target of reduce final energy consumption by 4.1% below BAU level by 2017, while introducing various measures to achieve this target.
