Clean Growth Programme
The Clean Growth Program allocated CAD155 million in clean technology research and development, and demonstration projects in energy, mining and forestry. It funded 43 clean technology RD&D projects, reducing 13 131 tonnes of CO2 in 2021-22. This programme covered five sectors and is focused on the most pressing environmental challenges and economic opportunities facing Canada’s natural resource operations: Reducing greenhouse gas and air-polluting emissionsMinimising landscape disturbances and improving waste managementProducing and using advanced materials and bioproductsProducing and using energy efficientlyReducing water use and impacts on aquatic ecosystems.
The program also supports projects by facilitating collaboration… -

Roadmap for Coal to Hydrogen production
The Prime Minister of India launched a Coal Gasification Mission, wit the objective to gasify 100 Mt coal by 2030. India wants to exploit its own resources, coal, instead of importing natural gas from other countries, to produce hydrogen which is an important feedstock for industrial processes.
