National Energy Transition Plan to 2030
The plan sets out objectives and specific targets to measure its energy transition by 2030. It includes: Not exceeding 349 Mt CO2e throughout the economy, Reducing energy demand by at least 8% through energy efficiency, Surpassing 50% of electricity generation from renewable sources, Achieving a 2% increase in electric vehicles in the vehicle fleet, Reaching 1,000 MW of distributed renewable generation, and Expanding the electric transmission network by 5,000 km of new high-voltage lines.

According to the latest edition of our World Energy Employment https://www.iea.org/reports/world-energy-employment-2025 report, 76 million people were employed by the sector globally in 2024, over 5 million more than in 2019.
