National Energy Efficiency Action Plan 2010-2018 contains targets and roadmap to how improve energy efficiency in all sectors in Albania. The document is consistent with outlines of the EU Directive 2006/32/EC on energy efficiency end use and energy services, Directive 2002/91/EC on energy performance building and Directive 92/75/EC. By 2018 Albania plans to achieve energy savings targets as follows: residential sector -22%, Services -19%, Industry -25%, Transport -31 %, Agriculture -3% taking data on energy consumption from 2008 as a baseline.
