The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 2025-2027 plan highlights six hydrogen energy applications, efficiency evaluation for alkaline water electrolysis, hydrogen production from coke oven gas, blast furnace injection of hydrogen-rich gas, hydrogen-based non-blast furnace ironmaking, and production of green methanol and ammonia from clean hydrogen.
