Green Hydrogen Roadmap
Ecuador's Green Hydrogen Roadmap aimed at helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions between 20 and 25% by the year 2025 as well as making H2V (green hydrogen) a competitive energy source in the country. The roadmap is divided into three phases starting the initial phase until 2025, medium-term deployment phase until 2030, and a final long-term phase beyond 2030.

Bavaria Hydrogen Roadmap
Bavaria has set the goal of being climate-neutral by 2040. With the Hydrogen Roadmap, the Free State highlight the perspectives and actions to ramp-up the hydrogen economy. Demand is expected to come mainly from mobility, petrochemical, power and heat generation (central and in the industrial sector). Capacity for electrolytic hydrogen production is limited due to the low renewable resources potential, so Bavaria will have to rely on imports in the long term. Anyway, by 2030 at least 1 GW of electrolysis must be installed in Bavaria (300 MW by 2025) to meet the assumed additional hydrogen demand. In…

National Hydrogen Strategy and Roadmap
…oil imports. Target of 150 ktpa of renewable hydrogen production by 2030 (out of which 85 ktpa are to be exported). This increases to 1.35 Mtpa by 2040 and 4.15 Mtpa by 2050. LCOH target of USD 1.8/kg by 2030 and USD 1/kg by 2050. Cumulative investment needs of USD 26-34.4 billion by 2050. A large demand foreseen for hydrogen derivatives including 1.33 Mtpa of e-methanol by 2050. Roadmap has the cost, potential, challenges and 2050 vision, while the strategy focuses more on the actions needed to achieve that 2050 vision

Baden-Württemberg Hydrogen Roadmap
The Hydrogen Roadmap, adopted by the state government in December 2020, aims to position the region as a leading hub for the hydrogen and fuel cell industry, with a focus on producing components and subsystems for both national and international markets. It outlines specific objectives and measures across production, infrastructure, and application areas, each with defined timelines. A Progress Report evaluating advancements and updates was released in 2024.

Green hydrogen strategy and roadmap
Targets updated to include two phases (2023-2027) and (2028-2032) for shares of renewables in imported ammonia and methanol, electrolyser deployment, and renewable capacity dedicated to hydrogen. Phase 1 (2023-2027) includes 20% imported nitrogen fertlisers to be renewable (100 kt), 100% imported methanol to be renewable (5 kt), 150 MW of renewable capacity dedicated to ELY and 100 MW of ELY. Phase 2 (2028-2032) includes 50% imported nitrogen fertlisers to be renewable (300-400 kt), 350-450 MW of renewable capacity dedicated to ELY and 150-250 MW of ELY

Hydrogen Net Zero Investment Roadmap (2023)
£960 mln. The UK Hydrogen Net Zero Investment Roadmap outlines the country’s ambitious goals to develop a robust hydrogen economy, aiming for up to 10GW of low-carbon hydrogen production capacity by 2030, with a potential 27GW pipeline by 2037. Key initiatives include the Hydrogen Allocation Rounds (HAR1 and HAR2) to support commercial-scale green hydrogen projects, the Green Industries Growth Accelerator (GIGA) fund, and the development of hydrogen transport and storage infrastructure. The roadmap emphasizes hydrogen’s role in decarbonizing hard-to-electrify sectors, enhancing energy security, and supporting the UK’s net zero targets.

National hydrogen and ammonia roadmap
The national hydrogen strategy is structured around reducing fossil fuel dependence, accelerating decarbonization, and boosting global competitiveness, with implementation across three phases: groundwork and policy development (2025–2034), scaling and integration (2035–2045), and large-scale deployment post-2045. It supports diverse hydrogen production methods—electrolysis, coal gasification, biogas reforming, and natural hydrogen—and targets sectors like transport, power, gas networks, and industry. Ammonia production includes carbon capture and is aimed at fertilizers, power, and shipping. By 2060, hydrogen demand could reach 3.4–11.8 Mtpa, with supply up to 17.5 Mtpa—30–50% of which could be…

Hydrogen Economy and Technology Roadmap
The hydrogen roadmap goes together with the national energy transition roadmap as one of the key levers to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. Targets include the phase-out of fossil-based hydrogen, 3.3 Mtpa of renewable hydrogen, and 3 hubs by 2050. The roadmap aims at positioning Malaysia as a leading Hydrogen Economy Country by 2050. This initiative is based on five main factors:
-Increasing revenue and productivity in exports, mobility, power generation, industrial heating and non-energy;
-Promoting green growth aspirations in transportation sector;
-Cementing Malaysia’s position as the key hydrogen player in Asia Pacific;
-Creating job… -
