                National Roadmap for Net Zero Carbon Buildings

                The National Roadmap for Net Zero Carbon Buildings sets the framework and targets for the decarbonation of the buildings sector.                 Electric Vehicle Industry Roadmap

                The roadmap, developed by the Department of Trade and Industry, seek to promote the establishment of a domestic EVs industry. Thus, GHG emissions shall be mitigated and further investments and job creation in the automotive industry shall be promoted.This aims to be achieved through a number of strategic interventions including but not limited to: demand stimulation;public education; investment support;accommodative regulatory framework. Manufacturers producing a minimum of 5,000 volumes annually in South Africa were qualified for a 35% cash-back in investment incentive.

                Decarbonisation roadmap for the chemicals sector

                …The chemicals sector accounts for 25% of total emissions of the industrial sector. The Ministry of Ecological Transition published a Decarbonation Roadmap for the chemicals sector. It highlights the progress made in the sector, its future needs and emissions, and the ways for the sector to reduce its carbon emissions. It sets a new emissions reduction target of 26% by 2030, compared to 2015. The goals highlighted in the roadmap are: - improving energy efficiency (-1.8 MtCO2 eq reduction of annual GHG emissions emissions between 2015 and 2030), - reducing nitrous oxide (N2O) (-0.8 MtCO2 eq) - reducing hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) emissions…

                Zero Emission Road Freight Demonstrator (ZERFD) Programme

                The UK government has announced an investment (GBP 200 million) to launch the world’s largest fleet of zero-emission heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), including hydrogen fuel cell technology, as part of a three-year program to decarbonize road freight. The goals are to improve air quality, create greener jobs, reduce reliance on foreign oil, and ensure all new HGVs sold in the UK are zero-emission by 2040, supporting the UK’s COP26 pledges

                Law on the Road User Charge

                Latvia has adopted Law on the Road User Charge to introduce a road user charge - a specified amount payment of which confers the right for a vehicle to use for a given period the road infrastructure mentioned in Annex 1 of Law on the Road User Charge. The road user charge rate in Latvia depends on the emission limits for the vehicle engine, the laden weight of the vehicle and the period of using roads.

                The NERM provides the implementation plan for Activities to facilitate Nauru's energy sector development agenda.                 Support to road transport operators (freight and collective transport)

                As part of its October 2021 "Extraordinary package of measures on fuels" policy package enacted in response to the global energy crisis, the Portuguese government enacted specific support measures to the road passenger transport operators. The Environmental Fund provides EUR 0.10/litre subsidies to vehicles licensed by the Instituto da Mobilidade e dos Transportes (IMT): licensed taxis, heavy passenger vehicles of categories M2 and M3 or equivalent. The support provided was later increased in the framework of the March 2022 package entitled "New measures to offset rising energy prices", from EUR 0.10/litre to EUR 0.30/litre…
