Green Innovation Fund - Hydrogen
…created to fund hydrogen-related projects as follows: Up to 300 billion yen is set aside to develop a large-scale hydrogen supply chain and to create sufficient demand for hydrogen. The project focuses on developing the transport and liquefaction technologies and hydrogen combustion demonstration project.Up to 70 billion yen is set aside for the development of hydrogen production through water electrolysis using renewable power. Beside production technology development, the funding also include scope for technology demonstration. Up to 193.5 billion yen is set aside to develop the capabilities of hydrogen utilisation in iron and steel making industries.

…Interest Equalization Scheme (IES), implemented from 2015 and until at least June 30, 2024, provides a rebate on the interest for the shipment of exports in the form of pre- and post-shipment export credits. Sectors that benefit from this scheme are mostly labour-intensive sectors such as textiles, agriculture, auto manufacturing, among many others. Products funded by the Production Linked Scheme are not eligible for IES, however the following energy sector products are:Articles of Iron or Steel;Industrial Machinery, Electrical and Engineering items, internal combustion engine, machine tools;All items manufactured by SME other than those covered above.
