2012 Legislative Decree on Minimum Stocks of Crude Oil (249/2012)
The Legislative Decree on Minimum Stocks of Crude Oil (DMS) implements the European Union’s Directive 2009/119/EC and lays out a specific legal framework concerning the protection of Italy's energy supply by stockholding oil and other petroleum products. Article 3(7) DMS specifies that emergency oil stocks must be created and maintained by commercial actors who have in the previous year released for consumption petrol, diesel oil, fuel oil and kerosene type jet fuel and other specified fuel products. Article 7 DMS identifies the parameters governing the holding of emergency stocks by the Italian CSE.

Targeted measures to compensate increased energy prices
In response to the significant rise of energy prices in Finland over the past year, the government has decided on temporary targeted measures:Increase of the maximum deduction for commuting expenses, from EUR 7 000 to EUR 8 400 and increase of the mileage allowance for commuting expenses from EUR 0.25/km to EUR 0.30/kmLoan guarantee to support climate-friendly household investments.Preparation of an occupational diesel tax system.Targeted financial support is provided according to income and the region and the obligation to provide information in electricity contracts.

S.O. 3215 - Fuel consumption standards for heavy-duty vehicles 2020
First Indian fuel efficiency standards were introduced in 2017 and includes two phases of regulatory compliance. Phase 1 goes into effect April 1, 2018, while Phase 2 is effective beginning April 1, 2021. Standards initially apply to heavy-duty vehicles of 12 tonnes or more, and now cover diesel vehicles between 3.5 and 12.0 tonnes from 2021 onwards.

The French carbon tax (Contribution Climat-Énergie or CCE) is attached to the domestic excise taxes on energy consumption (taxes intérieures sur la consommation des produits énergétiques, d’électricité et de gaz), increasing their overall rate. Indonesia’s micro hydro plants
…in four months, providing electricity to 134 households, one community health centre, a market and a church. Due to the success of the initial project, Marselus and the team developed three additional micro-hydro power plants: Wae Mese Wangkar plant in Sambi Rampas subdistrict and the Wae Laban Elar and Wae Lenger plants in Elar Poco Ranaka subdistrict. The power plants resulted in estimated cost savings of 230 000 rupiah/month (EUR 14) for villagers that relied on kerosene and 860 000 rupiah/month (EUR 50) for villagers that relied on diesel generators; it also served to boost community solidarity.
