                A EUR 300 allocation is granted for households heating with heating oil or propane. The extension of the allocation was decided in September 2022, until March 2023, and was the second increase over the previously decided amount of 225 EUR.

                Social compensation for vulnerable energy customers, who receive a HRK 200 voucher for electricity costs. With regard to support for pensioners, a special one-time compensation or energy supplement is provided for 721 thousand pensioners with a pension of up to HRK 4,000.

Support for entrepreneurs Support for SMEs with an average annual consumption of up to 10 GWh.                 Additional measure to deal with increases in electricity prices - Government electricity subsidy

                Government electricity subsidy program covering 449,000 homes and 111,500 businesses. The subsidy covers residential, commercial and industrial users on a bi-monthly tariff with tariffs as introduced from September 2022 covering the July 2022-August 2022 period.For the state-defined vulnerable groups of the population, up to 100% of the upcoming electricity price increase will be covered. For those with a consumption of 1-400 kwh the subsidy will be up to 85% of the increase, for those with 401-600 kwh 75% of the increase will be covered and for those with 601-800 kwh is…

                Zero-emission vehicle purchase subsidy

                …the Environmental Investment Centre (KIK) - managed by the Estonian Ministry of Environment - launched a call for grant applications for the purchase of zero emissions vehicles. The grant is awarded to individuals and companies for the purchase of electric and hydrogen vehicles and electric cargo bikes purchased as of 6 February 2023. The amount of support per car is EUR 4,000 for companies and EUR 5,000 for individuals, and EUR 1,000 per cargo bike for companies and EUR 1,250 for individuals. The subsidies are provided using the proceeds from the trading scheme for greenhouse gas emission allowances.

                2021/2022 National fuel subsidy rise

                In an effort to cushion domestic consumers from the effects of the global energy crisis, the Japanese government raised national fuel subsidies for gasoline, light oil, kerosene, heavy oil, and aviation fuel, in November 2021 through a scheme targeting oil refining companies.

                In an effort to cushion domestic consumers from the impacts of the international energy price crisis, the Kenyan government earmarked KSh 6.7 billion for petrol and diesel subsidy for fiscal year 2021/22. The fuel subsidy scheme is administered under the Petroleum Development Levy Fund.
