                Energy Action Plan

The Energy Action Plan seeks to end load shedding and guarantee energy security. The plan includes five pillars, including the improvement of the availability of existing supply by restructuring Eskom, enabling private investment in generation capacity, accelerate procurement of new generation capacity from renewables, gas and battery storage, unleash businesses and households to invest in rooftop solar, and achieve long-term energy security in the country.
