Directive No 3 of June 14, 2007 - Economy and thrift are the main factors of the economic security of the state
Directive n°3 on Economy Thrift of 14 June 2007 outlines that deployment of renewable energy sources is of crucial importance for the economic security of the country. Authorities are obliged to support deployment of local renewable and alternative sources. Officials’ performance will be judged on the basis of inter alia on the growth of renewables in sectors or regions that they are responsible for.
The directive targets 28% decrease in energy intensity of GDP over 2010-2015 (to 0.2 toe/1000 USD ppp) -
