Green Heat Network Fund
The Green Heat Network Fund (GHNF) is a capital grant fund that supports: - The commercialisation and construction of new low and zero carbon (LZC) heat networks (including the supply of cooling), - The retrofitting and expansion of existing heat networks. It aims to develop and grow the heat network market and to address some of the challenges of decarbonising the UK’s heat sector.

Solarthermie 2000Plus
This programme is a successor of the "Solarthermie2000" programme. It concentrates on the support of pilot systems, enabling researchers to test their results under real conditions and modify the technology to develop well-functioning and market orientated systems. Eligible solar thermal collectors must have a minimum area of 100 m². financial support is offered for the system itself and for accompanying research. Non-repayable grants covering up to 50% of the investment cost are provided to public institutions, foundations, public utilities, property companies and private companies.

Implementation of the EU Directive on the Energy Performance of Buildings
In 2006, Hungary passed Decree No. 7/2006. (V. 24.) TNM on the establishment of energy characteristics of buildings, thereby transposing portions of the EU Directive on the Energy Performance of Buildings. In particular, this decree coversthe first three of the five main areas contained in the directive. Energy Efficiency Program
The "Programme National dAmélioration de l'Efficacité Energétique" (PNAEE) was announced by the French government in December 2000. The programme is a complement to the National Communication on Climate Change. It aims to mobilise all households, small businesses and local government to act on energy saving. It allows for the creation of a network of information on energy efficiency and the development of a media campaign. It includes a number of measures to improve energy efficiency of transport, construction, industry and renewable energy.
