Moroccan Standard NM 14.2.300 on labelling of cooling, cooking and cleaning appliances; and indoor lighting
Under the standard, appliances requiring mandatory labelling are cooling appliances (refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners), cooking appliances (electric ovens), cleaning appliances (dishwashers, washing machines and clothes dryers) and household electric lamps (incandescent and fluorescent lamps with/without integrated ballast).
The standard was introduced as a voluntary measure in 2010 but was made mandatory in 2011 under MEMEE Order 2148-11 (July 2011). -

Warmer Kiwi Homes - Insulation and Heating Grants
Warmer Kiwi Homes program provides 80% grants of the cost of ceiling, underfloor insulation, and heating equipments to low-income home-owners. As of 20 May, 2021, New Zealand government allocated NZD 47.622 million to extend the Warmer Kiwi Homes program for 2021/2022 fiscal year, and NZD 72.43 million for 2022/2023. The programme is expected to deliver a further 47 700 insulation and heating retrofits. The Co-generation Act, which came into force in April 2002, gives incentives for the on-going operation and modernisation of existing co-generation units. It is meant to aid municipal CHP plants, which lost competitiveness in the late 1990s due to decreased electricity prices (as a consequence of liberalisation) and increased gas prices. The law allows CHP operators, feeding electricity into the public transmission network, to receive bonus payments on top of the revenue at market price.
